Responsibilities of the Communications Commission
Duties include establishing policies and recommending procedures to the Mayor and City Council on the strategic use of the communication vehicles employed by the City to disseminate information, promoting an understanding of the functions of City government, as well as fostering and maintaining a favorable image of the City to the publics it serves. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Annual Financial Report
  • Public and Media Relations
  • The Annual City Calendar
  • Programming for SCSTV, the City's local government access cable station

  • Inside St. Clair Shores, the City newsletter
  •, the City wesbite
  • All Social Media including the City of St. Clair Shores Facebook Page.
  • Special Marketing Campaigns/Projects
