What We Do
The Finance Department's mission is to build and maintain internal staff support, enabling City departments to serve the residents effectively and efficiently. Its goals include providing high-quality, proactive, coordinated services to operating departments while protecting the City's legal and financial interests. As a result, approximately 60% of all departments' operations are funded.
The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program, a part of the American Rescue Plan [Act] (ARPA), delivers $350 billion to state, local, and Tribal governments across the country to support their response to and recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency.
