The St. Clair Shores Adaptive Playground Program offers supervised activities for individuals ages 5-26 with special needs. This program runs from June 19 - August 18 at Veteran's Memorial Park, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We are committed to maintaining a fun and safe environment for each individual. Sign up in-person only at the Civic Ice Arena (20000 Stephens).
Adult Softball
All games are played at Kyte Monroe Park. Fees cover softballs, field rentals, playoffs, and a $50 refundable "forfeit fee." Umpires will be paid in cash at the field.
IMPORTANT: The balance must be paid before the first scheduled game. Teams with remaining balances before the first game will be forced to take forfeits until the balance is paid in full.
Coed League
Team Fee: $550 ($200 deposit)
Umpire Fee: $17 per game per team
Game Day: Sundays
Times: 5:10 PM, 6:20 PM, 7:30 PM or 8:50 PM
10 Games plus playoffs

Women League
Team Fee: $550 ($200 deposit)
Game Day: Sundays
Times: 6:30 PM, 7:40 PM, 8:50 PM or 10 PM

Fall Baseball League
Teams from U10 to High School age (over 50 teams) play baseball the old-fashioned way– with wooden bats! This is real baseball played at Kyte Monroe Park (Masonic & Harper). Please refer to their website FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE or contact Mark Andrus at 586-781-6575 for additional information.

Youth Basketball
The 2024 season will begin in January. Click here to register online.
- Open to boys and girls, grades 3rd to 8th
- All practices/games are played at local SCS schools.
- Fee: $70
- Practices begin in January & Games begin in February, ending in April.

Enroll in Boater Safety Classes
Classes meet state requirements for personal watercraft use. Classes are ideal for children 12 and up. The class is free but there is a $50 book fee payable to the instructor. Classes run every Wednesday (March 1-March 29) evening for 5 weeks from 7-9 PM at the Civic Arena.

Figure Skating Club
The St. Clair Shores Figure Skating Club offers adult, youth, hockey, and adaptive skating programs for people of all skill levels. Skating is available at the Civic Ice Arena in the morning, afternoon, and evening hours with membership to the skating club.

Learn to Skate
This program is designed to teach beginner skaters the enjoyment of ice skating and the many rewards to be gained. Skaters are taught all the elements required for their badge level during lessons. For the duration of practice, each skater is on their own to run through their skills while supervised by instructors.
- Sessions run year-round for ages three to adult.
- Annual 1-Year Basic Skills Membership must be paid before the first day of class.
- Membership may be purchased online at Learn To Skate USA for $17.25.
- Skaters without membership will not participate in the program.

Football Association
The mission of the SCS Green Hornets / Black Knights Organization is to provide a safe and fun environment for kids ages seven to 14. This allows them to learn the game of football and the different aspects of cheerleading.
When you join the St. Clair Shores Green Hornets family, this is what you will get:
- Eight to nine games with guaranteed playing time
- We supply uniforms
- Game days on the weekends
- Home games are played at Lakeview, South Lake, and Lake Shore High Schools
- Practices are held at Kennedy Middle School
- Experience that you can carry with you to the high school level

Adult Hockey League
Fall/Winter and Spring leagues are offered through the St. Clair Shores Civic Ice Arena (20000 Stephens). These leagues are for 18 and older only. We accept new and returning teams.
Levels A, B, C, and D Games are scheduled on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. You may sign up as an individual player by giving your information to us. Teams or managers may contact you as a fill-in or to join their team if they need extra players.

SCS Hockey Association
The St. Clair Shores Hockey Association (SCSHA) has been running for over 50 years, proudly dubbing itself Hockeytown, USA. The SCSHA is always welcoming new participants into the organization. Ages range from Mini-Mites through Midgets.

SCS Horseshoe Club
League play starts on the first Monday in May and lasts until Labor Day weekend. Takes place at Kyte Monroe Park (Masonic & Harper).

SCS REIGN FC Travel Soccer Club
St. Clair Shores Travel Soccer Club tryouts are typically held in June. All players are welcome to try out, regardless of their skill level. For additional information, visit the St. Clair Shores Reign FC Soccer Club website.
Youth Soccer
The St. Clair Shores Youth Soccer League is available for boys and girls ages 31/2 to 14. For more information, visit the SCS Youth Soccer League website or contact Dan Rothenberg at 586-738-0309.
Ski & Snowboard Club
All students, beginner to expert, grades 6 to adults, are invited to join the Ski and Snowboard Club! City residence is not required. The club provides transportation and supervision by a staff that has been together for nearly 40 years.
Membership is $240 and includes:
- Professional motor coach transportation each week
- Two ski lessons or one snowboard lesson
- Mt. Holly student ID card for other discounts (i.e., discounted lift tickets and rental equipment).
The group makes up to 10 trips every Friday (weather permitting) to Mt. Holly from December 14 through the end of February.
Buses leave the Civic Arena parking lot at 4 p.m. and return at midnight.

Instructional Tennis
Book a tennis lesson to learn the proper techniques, including grip, stance, and the basic of the forehand, backhand, and volley. Tennis etiquette is also covered. Classes will take place at Spindler Park, 19400 Stephens, Eastpointe, MI 48021.
Class age groups are 4-6 yrs, 7-12 yrs, 13-18 yrs, and 18+.
