The first takes place on Wednesday, February 1, at 2 p.m. A panel of guests will share their knowledge of Reverse Mortgages, Downsizing Tips, Veterans Benefits, Auto and Home Insurance Options, and Investment Strategies for seniors. The panel has over 90 years of collective experience and will be open to any questions you may have in their respective areas of expertise. On February 3, from 12:30–2:30 p.m., the “Community First Responders” will provide a CPR training session for the everyday person. They will show a video and provide hands-on training in Adult, Child, & Infant CPR. The course includes Narcan training, guidance on choking, and exposure to an AED (Defibrillator). This program is $35. You can sign up at the senior center front window or call 586-498-2413.

Falls are common but don’t have to be the new normal. Learn fall prevention during the “Improve Balance and Prevent Falls” presentation by Healthquest on Thursday, February 15, at 1 p.m. This program teaches the body’s balance system improvements. Also, learn how to limit risk factors. Space at this presentation is limited.

The investment and balance programs are open to all senior center members. For more information on becoming a member, visit or stop by the center at 20100 Stephens. The CPR program is open to all.
