If you plan to enjoy our lakefront parks this summer, don’t wait to get your Park Pass.
May 1 marks the beginning of gate checks for Blossom Heath, Veterans Memorial, and Lac Sainte Clair parks. These three parks are adjacent to Lake St. Clair and require all residents to purchase a pass to enjoy the park outside of special events.
Passes are only $10 per family and last all year. Family passes include all children under 18 years of age. Single passes are available for $7. Seniors can get an individual pass for $5, or a couples pass for $7.
Special events like Music on the Lake, Farmers Markets, or Food Truck Rallies don’t require park passes.
Non-residents are not able to purchase park passes. Residents with passes are allowed up to five guests. Guests of park passes do not have to be residents.
You can purchase park passes at the Parks & Recreation front desk inside the Civic Arena. Please bring a valid photo ID to verify SCS residency.
Want to celebrate in our park? Don’t forget that parties of 20 or more require Group Park Permits for Blossom Heath and Veterans Memorial Parks.
Group Park Permits include one picnic table per 10 people in your party, an option to bring beer or wine into the park (no glass containers), and non-residents in your party.
Call the Parks and Recreation Department at 586-445-5350 to check availability.
While you’re on the phone, make the party even better by renting a pavilion!
