Residents receive their water bills quarterly in the City of St. Clair Shores. You should receive your bills on the first of the following months:
Payments are due three weeks after the bills are mailed.
Most home meters now have a radio read device that transmits the reading to the city offices at the time of billing.
If you receive an estimated bill, call the water department at 586-447-3317 with the reading off their meter. You received an estimate because your MTU device is not transmitting the reading. When you call, staff will give instructions on setting up an appointment to replace the unit.
